§1 About Me

Current position, background, and research focus

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Mahindra University, Hyderabad, where I work on computational methods for balance laws, designing high-order schemes with provable stability guarantees. Before joining Mahindra University, I was a Post Doctoral Fellow at IIT Delhi, where I collaborated with Prof. Harish Kumar on the development of entropy stable methods for complex hyperbolic systems arising in plasma physics and relativistic flows. I earned my PhD from SRM Institute of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Ritesh Kumar Dubey, working on nonlinearly stable high-order schemes for systems of hyperbolic conservation laws. I completed my MSc from IIT Madras.

Current Focus: I am working on stable schemes for astrophysical problems including simulations of relativistic flows and developing efficient numerical methods with theoretical guarantees — where mathematical rigor meets computational physics.
